Swimwear FAQ

Note: All orders other than ready made are custom orders and require a $5.00 processing fee PER SUIT. Thank you!

Which style is best for my body type?

Our Tropical Wave style is perfect for minimizing the hip and thigh area. It features a wave skirt which allows much more room than the A-Line skirt. The Coastal Sands style is wonderful for minimizing the tummy, hip and thigh area. It has an empire waist in which the seam is placed higher up than the natural waistline, thus raising the skirt up higher. Both of these two styles look equally attractive for ladies and also little girls. Our styles that have a drop waist are more suited for well proportioned measurements. If you do like the look of the drop waist suits we can always bring the waist seam up to your preference but the look of the style will change.

Note: We custom make our suits to the measurements you provide on the order form. We do not custom tailor suits to your body. If your suit does not fit like you were expecting you may want to take it to a local seamstress to adjust it

How long does it take to get a custom suit made?

Custom orders and Standard Size orders are shipped out 7-10 business days after cleared payment dates depending on how busy we are.

Can I get my suit in a few days?

Rush orders are an additional charge of $10.00 per order plus your shipping preference. Expedited overnight shipping costs are additional.

Do you accept returns?

Custom orders may not be returned as the suit was made specifically for your personal measurements. Ready made suits may be exchanged provided the suit was only tried on for fitting purposes with proper undergarments, and not swam in. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges plus shipping charges on an exchange or return suit.

Standard swimsuits may be returned provided there are no custom lengths, etc. 20% restocking fee does apply as well as return shipping.

Please email us right away if you think there is a problem with your swimsuit within 2 days of receiving it. We will gladly take care of sewing defects which are our fault. Mistakes do happen, however we will gladly correct them.

If you have measured incorrectly and your swimsuit doesn't fit like you were expecting we ask that you take it to a local tailor to fix it.

Do you ship overseas?

We are happy to ship overseas. We ask that you email us before you purchase so we can give you a shipping quote.

Do you do alterations?

We do not alter suits. It is much cheaper to have them fixed locally than to ship them to us and then back to you again.

It is the customers responsibility to read and follow the swimsuit care sheet instructions to help your suit last. We are not responsible for wear and tear due to improper laundering and or exposure to different chlorine levels and problems that are beyond our control.

We do our best to inform you of every possible situation that may lead to fabric problems.
